Designs By Sundown Featured on HGTV’s Landscapers’ Challenge first visit to Denver

Three residential landscape designers from Denver and their companies recently competed on HGTV’s top-rated reality series Landscapers’ Challenge.

Designs By Sundown’s award-winning landscape designer, Paul Wrona, was selected by the homeowners as best capturing their desires for a kid-friendly yet inviting front yard. His design was turned into reality on national television with the help of our construction crew led by foreman, Rafael Salvidrez. The episode aired on HGTV* Thursday evening, August 31st at 7:30 and 11:30 p.m.and Saturday morning, September 2nd, at 9:00 a.m.

This was the show’s first visit to Denver with actual production taking place last summer. The homeowners live in a 1940’s brick home located just minutes from Invesco Field and Downtown Denver.

The challenge … complete renovation of their front yard turning unusable space into an inviting and functional, yet low-maintenance, outdoor living area for their home. Each designer presented their plan based on the owner’s budget, taste and lifestyle.

The results … Paul Wrona’s design was selected by the homeowners. Designs By Sundown’s construction crew installed the landscape featured on the show.
