FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, June 18, 2013, Denver, Colorado

Designs By Sundown’s (DBS) Environmental and Community Outreach Committee (ECO) recently donated their time and talents to work alongside the YMCA’s day camp program to install vegetable gardens at Dartmouth Elementary School in Aurora.

On Saturday, May 11th, 2013, volunteers from Designs By Sundown built the actual structures and amended the soil so the students of the day camp could plant the seeds, tend to the garden and harvest the crops. The employees were more than happy to help with this awesome cause to teach kids that gardening is fun. In addition, this will get kids outdoors to enjoy the beauty of a Colorado Summer.
