Community Involvement

Designs By Sundown has been active in the community since its inception. A volunteer group of employees from Designs By Sundown formed the Environmental and Community Outreach (ECO) committee. The purpose: to review and select charitable projects within the community in need of assistance. The company committed resources, time and labor to complete projects for Habitat for Humanity and The Delores project. Michael and Designs By Sundown have sponsored youth hockey and baseball teams, backed classes at the Littleton YMCA, helped Boy Scouts earn badges by contributing resources and manpower, provided landscape services and products to local schools for silent auction purposes, and contributed time and materials to the Boy’s Hope Home and to senior citizens unable to maintain their landscapes. We have also provided countless trees to local charitable organizations to plant for memorial purposes and at senior centers.
