Falls in the Village
The therapeutic healing power of water takes center stage in this park-like landscape. A water feature with multiple falls and ponds is the centerpiece in the front, while a pool equipped with special features was created in the back. Colored concrete pathways provide step-free access for wheel chair accessibility and the hand-crafted bridge made from reclaimed barn wood and the hand-forged iron rails provide the perfect viewing location for both the upper and lower falls. In back, red brick pavers surround the pool and provide a slip resistant surface. The baja shelf and submerged benches within the pool provide a shallow water experience. Submerged handrails allow an aquatic environment for therapeutic exercise. Cast iron pots overflowing with plantings adorn the brick columns and create a frame around a water bowl gracefully spilling into the pool.
